Podcast 217 – Looking at the RV Industry From the Other Side of the Desk


As we get excited about the upcoming camping season, we wanted to do something very different this week. This is another show just for you – our dedicated fans who have been with us on this journey. Did you know we are are in our 7th year of producing RVing in New England? Still the industries only "live" online talk show every Wednesday evening at 7PM on NERVDA's Facebook page.
So, tonight we are going to take about ten of the latest press releases from various companies in our industry that have some exciting news to report, but sometimes consumers don't get to see all this information because it is intended for the trade press – but it is all public information, so we are not going to give away any corporate secrets or talk about things that are not in the public domain.
Here's a few teasers on what you, John and Bob will talk about and get your feedback. Is it a good idea? Would you buy the product? Do you know there is a National Go RVing Day coming up in June? How is business at two of the largest campground organizations in the Outdoor Hospitality industry today? Would you buy a 17' motorhome that you can park anywhere? A friend of our in the woods of Maine gets some well-earned national attention this week, and you can see it Friday. A road in Elkhart, Indiana is named after one of the strongest supporters of the RV industry, who was tragically killed in an automobile accident last year. We are going to look at a different way of determining what are the most popular National Parks, and Yellowstone Nation Park is way down at #39! And what would a show like this be without some stories on EV RVs – we seem to have a new story every week these days.
